Working with signed assemblies

May 15, 2014 at 9:41 PM
Hi Hendry,

Excellent job indeed.

But I tried to use this with signed assemblies without succeeds. First I tried to installed the package into a signed configured project and then I got the error because SheepAspect is not signed.

Then I created a project without signed file and modified the SheepAspect config file to wave the signed assemblies. But when I tried to run the assembly (in a test session for instance) I got an error about assembly signature.

There is an approach to deal with signed assemblies?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Alex,
Signed assemblies are protected against post-compilation tampering. They can't be weaved without breaking its signature, and unfortunately I can't think of any way to get around that.

Thanks Hendry, May you can find the answer in Fody does weaving and deal with signed assembly. It just "re-sign" the assembly Again, great job.
